Southside Comprehensive High School of Atlanta determined to make a difference for the future of their students and initiated the SAT SUCCESS project. College PowerPrep, MediaOne/USWest, and Compaq Computers/Logical Choice partnered with Southside under the leadership of Dr. Glenn Dowell, Liaison Specialist for the Atlanta Schools, to provide their students with the best in SAT preparation.
Their goal was to double the number of students scoring over 1000 on the SAT. Their story follows:
