Getting Ready to Use the SAT Classroom

So that you can make the most of our SAT Classroom, please follow these two steps. You MUST complete Step 2 before using the online SAT preparation software. (All software runs on IBM-compatible systems using Windows 3.0+ or Win95).

The First Step

To get the most out of our SAT Labs Classroom, we encourage you to take advantage of our SAT Diagnostic Test and Strategies Software.

SAT Diagnostic Test - FREE diagnostics to tell you where you need work. This program will help you focus your efforts.

SAT Strategies Software - FREE software to help you learn key SAT strategies. This program will help you maximize your SAT scores.

The Second Step

You will need to download the following FREE software to use the SAT Labs Classroom programs. The good news is that you only have to download the programs once to use throughout the course.

SAT Digital Reader - SAT Digital Reader (1.0 MB) works with Netscape 2.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0 compatible browsers and allows you to use the SAT Digital Trainer learning modules online. (Open DIGTRINT.EXE after downloading to install SAT Digital Reader on your computer. Follow all instructions carefully). You do not need to download the SAT Digital Reader again if you have already downloaded our SAT Strategies program.

VBRUN300.DLL - You will need VBRUN300.DLL (285 KB) installed in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM subdirectory to use the VocabMaster Lite! program. (After downloading, open VBRUN.EXE to install).

Return to the SAT Classroom to get started.
